FAQ

  • I want a tattoo but dont know how to get started
First start with looking at online portfolios, find an artist that you like their style and contact them directly. Most artists will prefer you either email them or set up an in person consultation. It is important to have a general idea about what you are wanting to get but also equally important to trust the artist you choose with designing the best possible tattoo for you. You can show them photos and go over the style, size, placement, color and pricing. From there you just set up an appointmnet with the artist, put down a deposit and get your tattoo!
  • How do i reach my artist / book with an artist
All of our artists schedule individually so the best way is through email or to come down to the shop and chat with them directly! below is a list of our artists emails: Kailah Bartolome- Kailahbtattoo@gmail.com Aaron Borden - Aaronbordentattoo@gmail.com Nutasha Duran- Nutashanicole@gmail.com
  • How much will my tattoo cost?
There are many factors that go into pricing a tattoo, it depends on the artist, the size of tattoo, how much detail is in the tattoo, the placement, etc. The best way to get a quote is to have a consultation with your chosen artist and they can give you an appoximate price.
  • What payment methods do you accept?
Cash is always preferred but if you cant get that before the appointment we can also accept cards through square readers.
  • Am I supposed to tip my artist?
Tipping is never required but it does show the artist that you appreciate the hard work they put into your tattoo. Generally people tip anywhere from 10%-20%
  • How old do i have to be to get a tattoo?
In the state of Oregon, you must be at least 18 years old and have a valid government-issued ID. If you are under the age of 18, there is no way for us to tattoo you. Even if your parents say it’s okay. It will be well worth the wait and we would love to tattoo you once you’ve reached legal age.
  • Why do i need to leave a deposit?
Deposits are required to make a tattoo appointment. It shows the artist that you are serious about getting the tattoo and they also protect the artist in the event that you do not come to your appointment so that they still get paid for the time and money they spent getting your tattoo ready. You wouldnt be happy going to work and being told you arent getting paid for the work you did that day right? DEPOSIT POLICY - All tattoo deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE. If you do not show up, are more than 15 minutes late, or did not cancel 3 days prior to your appointment, you forfeit your deposit and you will have to pay in full to schedule a new appointment. If you need to reschedule an appointment please call at least 3 business days prior and we can move your deposit to the new time/date.Your deposit goes towards your artists time, drawing, supplies, staff time and is applied at your final tattoo appointment.
  • Can I cancel or reschedule my appointment?
Yes, we will not force you to get a tattoo! However we do require 72 hours to rescedule the appointment so that we have time to fill the spot with someone else. If you do not give us 72 hours you will forfiet your deposit. If you give us plenty of notice we can move your appointment and deposit to another day. You can also just cancel your appointment. We would prefer this to just not showing up. However deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE so you will not get your deposit back, BUT if you give us more than 72 hours notice we will keep your deposit on file until you are ready to get a tattoo OR you can give your deposit (not appointment) to a friend who would like to get tattooed! Either way PLEASE CALL US and we can help you out!
  • Do I need an appointment or can I just walk in?
Either one is good for us! If you make an appointment you are gauranteed to get tattooed that day. If you are being spontanius and want a tattoo today, just call the shop and we can let you know if we have time that day!
  • I emailed my artist and didnt hear back, what should I do?"
Our artists are often tattooing and/or drawing for 8-10 hours a day, which doesn’t always leave a lot of time for emails. Don’t take it personally, they’re just busy. Turn around time for emails is usually 7-10 days. If you havent heard by your artist in that time feel free to re-email them! OR the fastest way to get an answer is to just come into the shop, we will always make time for anyone who takes the time to come see and talk to us!
