Your permanent cosmetic procedure was preformed using a sterile single-use needle and high quality pigments. Nustasha will provide you with aftercare ointment, if you allow your eyeliner to dry out during the first few days you stand a chance of losing all or most of your eyeliner color. Please keep in mind this is a tattoo, not following these instructions will result in additional charges. If you have any questions please contact your artist and only your artist.

-Just like with all PMU procedures, your eyeliner will appear to be very dark after the application. The final result

will be lighter than it first appears. During the first 2 weeks some pigment will drop out or appear like it is flaking

off, you will loose about 20%-40% of your color. This is normal and can be filled in during the refining

appointment 4-6 weeks after your initial session. Everyone's skin is different. Some people may lose more color

then others. This is normal and means that the color will need to be adjusted to a darker color.

-Do not wear contact lenses for at least 48 hrs following the procedure.

-After the procedure you will wash the tattoo 2-3 hours post procedure with water and a clean paper towel. You will continue this

step morning and night. It is very important to not overly saturate the eyes with soap or scrub aggressively.

-After washing the lash area, allow it to air dry for 2-5 minutes before applying aftercare ointment.

-With clean hands apply a small amount (pea size) of ointment to clean a clean q-tip. You do not want to saturate the lid with

ointment, if the lid is overly saturate it will cause choppy, blurry healing that will result in major loss of pigment. Ointment should

be kept to a thin chap-stick coating consistency. You want the tattoo to breath.

-No makeup the day of procedure.

-The skin may be swollen and tender, this can lat up to 72 hrs. Don't worry about the swelling, this is normal.

-You can do 2 - 10 minutes ice packs today to help reduce swelling and sensitivity.

-In the morning after cleaning, apply a 10 minute ice pack. They will be most swollen and crusty the morning after the procedure.

-For the next 7-10 days, it is very important to keep your eyes moist at all times. It is imperative that you do not let the eyeliner dry

out, as this will create scabbing and result in loss of pigment and shading. Apply the ointment up to 3-4 times a day depending    on skin type. Always use a clean q-tip to apply after care.

-DO NOT ITCH PICK OR SCRATCH!! If there is a small area flaking and/or lifting, let it fall off naturally.

-Before washing your face or showering, apply a this amount of ointment to the liner area, this will help protect the tattoo from

soap and water. then reapply once you dry your face. Do not use soaps or cleansing products around eyes and keep steamy

  showers to a minimum.

-If you must apply mascara or any makeup it is imperative that it is brand new and never used before. It is best to avoid all

  makeup while healing.

-Wear sunglasses when in the sun in order to protect the fresh color for at least the first 2 weeks.

-Avoid tanning beds, the sun, pools, hot tubs and any bodies of water for the first 2 weeks.

-Do not dye, perm or use any eyelash curler for 2 weeks

-Avoid heavy exercise and sweating for 10 days post procedure, this may cause pigment to fall out.

-Wait at least 2 weeks (14 days) before you have lash extensions filled.

After your procedure I will be apply Saniderm, Saniderm brings much needed simplicity to the tattoo aftercare process. The process is simple: for the first 24-48 hrs you will leave the bandage on depending on how much it bleeds and weeps.

If you have questions about this please text/call me directly or if I'm unable to be reached, please refer to https://saniderm.com/how-to-use/

You can shower with this bandage, but please try to avoid direct submerging of the bandage.

After the 1st bandage comes off, gently clean the tattoo with antibacterial soap, please allow 2-3 minutes of air drying the tattoo before applying the second bandage. Typically you can keep this 2nd bandages on anywhere from 3-5 days. Saniderm bandages protect your healing tattoo from scabbing, infection and other irritants t that damage the tattoo.

After 3-5 days of using the Saniderm you will begin to treat your tattoo like normal. For the first 24 hours you will wash the tattoo morning and night with an antibacterial soap. Apply the ointment that is given to you 2-5 times daily depending on how dry the area is. Do not over saturate the tattoo as this will cause pigment to fall out resulting unless than desired results.

Please limit the wear or any tight bras for the first 2 weeks, this step is most important once the Saniderm has come off as you want to allow the area to breathe as much as possible.

Never itch, pick or scratch at the area.

No foreign body fluids until tattoo is fully healed (2 weeks minimum)

No activities that  will cause extreme sweating for the first 5 days.

No swimming pools, hot tubs, or other bodies of water for 2 weeks.

No UV exposure (including tanning beds) for 2 weeks.

No laser light therapy, as it can darken/lighten or distort the pigment of the tattoo color.

After you've healed-

Areola tattoos normally last many years depending on lifestyle, skin type and aftercare.

Exposure to the sun and tanning beds can cause fading and discoloration of the pigment. Once fully healed, always apply SPF of 50 of greater.

Avoid chemical exfoliates on the areola, as it will cause fading.

Additional touch ups may be needed after a few years to keep them looking fresh, bold and 3D.

-After the 5 days take the bandage off carefully and wash with antibacterial soap -If there is adhesive residue leftover on the skin, or the adhesive is not loosening enough with water, coconut oil and baby oil are helpful for removal. -Start applying a light unscented lotion with clean hands as needed
